Sleep Apnea Treatment
Our team of doctors are certified members of both the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Virginia Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Using the latest technology in dental sleep medicine, we provide an effective and comfortable treatment for our patients.
Often, doctors will prescribe a CPAP machine to help restore oxygen flow. Unfortunately, the CPAP machines can often be a huge inconvenience for patients. They can be awkward to use, difficult to travel with, and make sleeping at night very challenging. Our office instead makes comfortable and custom fitting mouth guards for patients that help increase oxygen flow and decrease snoring.
When you come visit us at Costa Family & Cosmetic Dentistry for sleep apnea, we’ll make sure you have a thorough understanding of each step of the process so you’re completely aware of what’s happening. Your comfort is one of our top priorities throughout the entire process. We’ll also make sure we work with your best interest in mind from the time of your first consultation to scheduling time for your sleep study, and discuss treatment options. We won’t be happy until we have helped eliminate your snoring, and overcome the overbearing effects of sleep apnea.
If you or someone you know snores loudly throughout the night, you may be showing symptoms of sleep apnea. Contact us today to see how we can help!
