Dr. Shane R. Costa
Dr. Costa graduated from the University of Richmond and then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery, cum laude, from the Medical College of Virginia. After dental school, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Costa is a native of Northern Virginia and resides here once again with his family. He has been practicing locally since completing his residency and is committed to continue providing excellent dental care in Great Falls.
Dr. Costa accomplishes his goal of providing quality dentistry and beautiful smiles with maximum comfort through meticulous attention to detail. He further ensures his patients’ satisfaction and comfort by carefully listening to their needs and thoroughly explaining procedures to them. Dr. Costa keeps current with the latest technology and progress in dentistry as a member of many prestigious academies. He is also proud to have been listed by Washington Parent Magazine as one of their mom-recommended “Favorite Docs.”
Dr. Costa and his family are residents of Ashburn. He is a devoted participant of the Great Falls Community and a proud sponsor of Celebrate Great Falls. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Virginia, and their three wonderful children. When he has the chance, he likes to play golf, attend Washington Capitals and Nats games, and travel.
Dr. Neha Garge
Dr. Garge was born in Tokyo and raised in Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology and English from Tufts University and went on to get her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University. She is a member of many local dental societies. Dr. Garge enjoys practicing all areas of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is focused on keeping up with the latest dental technology and practices, and she often completes double or triple the hours of continuing education required each year. She also enjoys teaching and is the author of “The New Dentist’s Guide to Real World Dentistry.” Dr. Garge’s passion for dentistry shines through in everything she does.
Dr. Garge and her husband, Sameer, recently moved from Los Angeles to Tyson’s Corner and are excited to begin their new life in Northern Virginia. When she’s not making smiles beautiful, Dr. Garge enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants. Her and her husband are also avid travelers who enjoy visiting Italy and Hawaii as often as possible.
Dr. Stephenie Browning
Dr. Browning, a Texas native, completed her undergraduate degree from Baylor University and then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, with honors, from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. In addition, she furthered her dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at Oklahoma University Children’s Hospital and the Oklahoma VA Hospital. She is a member of the Special Care Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In addition to her extensive training in general dentistry, Dr. Browning has an interest in caring for patients with special health care needs. Her thorough hospital training has prepared her to manage complex dental and medical treatment needs. Dr. Browning is certified in moderate (conscious) sedation by the Virginia Board of Dentistry, which can be beneficial for apprehensive and special needs dental patients.
Dr. Browning and her husband, David, currently reside in Reston. Being new to area, Dr. Browning enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring all that there is to Northern Virginia.
Dr. Alexandra Patil
After living and working in Minnesota, Dr. Alexandra Patil began practicing in Ashburn, Virginia, in June of 2017. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She also maintains and continues her education by regularly attending courses and keeping up with new journal articles. Dr. Patil is a member of the ADA and enjoys the friendly atmosphere and positive energy of Costa Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. Her and her husband got married in April and moved to the area at the end of May. Since then, they’ve bene enjoying exploring a new area of the country and being so close to D.C. In her spare time, Dr. Patil enjoys biking, reading, spending time with family and friends, travelling, and trying new restaurants.
